People seek escape, whether it be just a few hours, a few weeks, a few months, or even a few years. 

One of the best place that we could think of would be nature. Nature provides us something that big cities can't, something called 

Bangkrajao is one the place that still preserves nature and is located in Bangkok. 

The isolation of this place gives the feeling of a getaway for the people to come only by boats from the big city. 

The organic shape of the building spreads throughout Bangkrajao as an adventure for the people to seek their own escape.

Site Analysis

Since the industrial period, more buildings pop up and less nature is preserved. Nature has always been a place for human to come relax and feel free from the control of the city. Bangkrajao is one of the place in Bangkok that still preserve nature and hasn't develop much. The isolation of the place is the reason why I've chosen to add the 'bucket list' and create an extreme sport for the society to come and enjoy their life outside the city, while still being surrounded by it. 

The main concept of the design is to gradient 'man-made' into 'nature'.

Phase 2: Performing Happiness: Incubator

Incubator(n.): an apparatus used to hatch eggs or grow microorganisms under controlled conditions.

This pop up machine is for training military in any environment and surroundings. The different materiality can adapt and camouflage as it reflects back the surroundings. The structure is a modular as it can transport throughout places for variations of training methods. The design has been developed from the study of the 'actions' of renovation. Military is a strong representation of renovation, for it does not only change your physical appearance, but also mental, sociological, and technical.
