Phase 2 : Performing Happiness, The Recreational Space for Blind

INTRODUCTION

DESIGNING AN ARCHITECTURAL MEETING POINT FOR BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLES; WE NEED TO CONSIDER ALL THE SENSES. NEGLECTING THE PERCEPTION ALLOW US TO CREATE A MORE RICH AND COMPLEX SPACE. MOST BLINDS HAVE A FEAR OF GETTING LOSS. SO I DECIDED TO DESIGN AN ARCHITECTURE FOR BLIND AND WITH BLIND IN MIND. MAKING AN EASY TO FOLLOW BUT ALSO FULL OF SURPRISE. COMBINING THE INTANGIBLE CONCEPT THAT MOST BLIND CANNOT UNDERSTAND, AND RECREATE IT WITH ARCHITECTURE. ‘ MOST PEOPLE WILL SAY, I HAVE A VISION, BUT IN THE END THE RESULT ARE IN PHYSICAL FORMS. ‘ DESIGNING FOR BLIND IS DESIGNING THAT PHYSICAL FORM INTEGRATED WITH MULTI SENSORY, AND AESTHETIC IS JUST AN ADD-ON.
