Phase 2: Performing Happiness

From the study of the cerebrum club in NYC in the 70's, I deduced that people, especially in a stressful society seek to find happiness in as many different ways as possible. Clubs like cerebrum offer nothing but experience for sale. Guests often describe them as an experience like no other and as they are further dissociated from reality, the 'happier' they become.
2.1 Rule Set

The rule set combines the possibilities of different conditions that would disassociate people from the reality.

 2.2 Pop-Up Machine

From the rule set, the pop-up machine here would only focus on the acoustic performance part.
This installation is divided into 3 spaces: 1) the cooking chamber where you would be able to hear the cooking sounds from neighboring food stalls; 2) a quiet space where the space is generally opened but sound is reflected out so it is quiet despite being in open street; 3) a space where you are furthest away from the main road and skytrain and sound absorbers are in sight, but you will be able to hear noises best due to the reflections.
